The role:
We work with a Primary School within the Swansea area and are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work with a young child which has a hearing impairment. He is currently limited in his vocabulary as he is only young, knowing approximately 90 words. The School are looking for a BSL trained Teaching Assistant to provide the pupil with support as his vocabulary grows and he develops his confidence using British Sign Language.
The School require an individual which has a can-do attitude and holds experience working in a classroom environment. Preferably a Level 2 Teaching Assistant would be the ideal candidate, however experience in the area would also be suffice.
You will be required to work 9am – 12pm Monday – Friday as the pupil is currently only in Morning Education. However, in September this may increase to a full day of 8:30 – 3:30 as he increases his hours within school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
