British Sign Language TA required in South Tyneside

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a British Sign Language trained Teaching Assistant, experienced in supporting hearing impaired students for a SEN school in South Tyneside to commence ASAP.
Ideally applicants would hold a Level 2 BSL or higher and have experience of supporting pupils with learning difficulties in a SEN school setting. Additional qualifications such as Team Teach and Moving & Handling is desired but not mandatory. We would also welcome applicants with relevant transferable skills such as Youth Workers or Support Workers as well as recent graduates.
Our ideal candidate will have:
-3 months experience supporting hearing impaired pupils in a SEN setting
-Level 2 or Higher Certificate in BSL
-Experience of working with challenging behaviours and Team-Teach trained
-NCFE/CACHE Level 2/3 Supporting and Learning in Schools
-Patient and nurturing mannerism with a good understanding of de-escalation techniques
