Science Teacher – Secondary School | Oldham
Inspire, Educate, and Make a Difference

We are currently recruiting a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school in Oldham. Whether your strength lies in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics, this role offers the chance to shape young minds and ignite a love for science.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in Science across Key Stages 3 and 4.

  • Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the national curriculum.

  • Monitor student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.

  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters curiosity and critical thinking.

  • Use creative teaching techniques to maximise student engagement and achievement.

  • Contribute to department meetings, CPD sessions, and school-wide initiatives.


What We’re Looking For

  • A degree in Science or a related discipline.

  • A recognised UK teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).

  • Prior experience teaching Science at the secondary level (preferred).

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.

  • A proactive attitude toward professional development and collaborative working.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
