They are now seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Geography Teacher to join their passionate and supportive team.

The Role:
As a Geography Teacher at the school, you will have the opportunity to inspire the next generation by sharing your passion for the subject and helping students develop a deeper understanding of the world around them. You will teach across key stages 3, 4, and 5, delivering engaging lessons that challenge and motivate students. You will play an important role in shaping our Geography curriculum and contribute to the ongoing development of the department.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Delivering high-quality Geography lessons across key stages 3, 4, and 5.

Planning and preparing lessons that meet the needs of diverse learners.

Creating a positive and engaging classroom environment that encourages student participation and achievement.

Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.

Collaborating with colleagues within the department and across the school to share best practices.

Supporting extracurricular activities and field trips to enhance students’ learning experiences.

Contributing to departmental and whole-school initiatives aimed at continuous improvement.

 

The Ideal Candidate:

Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.

A degree in Geography or a related field.

Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Geography.

Experience of teaching Geography at KS3, KS4, and KS5 (desirable, but not essential).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.

A commitment to raising student achievement and promoting inclusivity.

Enthusiasm for contributing to the wider life of the school.
