A large specialist school in Cheadle require Learning Support Assistants to work within KS4 classes. Pupils within the school havea diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Condition as well as a range of learning, communication, multi-sensory and physical needs of students with Autism Spectrum Condition. The role will require you to support the Teacher with individual programmes for pupils along with daily activities within the school.

The Teaching Assistant must be willing to assist with delievering all aspets of personal care. The Teaching Assistant must also be flexible to working with pupils aged between 2-25 as they may be required to move around the school.

This is a very specific and challenging role, therefore applicants must have previous experience working with individuals with ASC and challenging behaviour. A Team - Teach, SCIP or other relevant de-escalation qualification is essential.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
