TEAM TEACH TRAINED SUPPORT ASSISTANT
General Cover Teacher required for Alternative provision in High Wycombe
Excellent opportunity for experienced teacher for students with SEMH
Supportive and friendly staff team to help you settle in
Low staff to pupil ratio to ensure strong and positive relationships are built
Teaching Personnel are looking for a fully qualified teacher to join an alternative provision for students with SEMH in High Wycombe. The unit caters for pupils aged 11-18 who have been excluded from SEN schools and therefore their levels of need and support are exceptionally high. All students have multiple learning difficulties including Autism, SpLD, Downs Syndrome and ADHD and are taught on a 1:1 or 2:1 basis in their own individual learning rooms. The successful applicant would need to have a good understanding of a broad range of subjects, most importantly, Maths and English, to enable maximum support to all students. Many will be working below the national average, however an emphasis is placed by the school that focuses more on individual development and targets. Previous experience working with students with similar needs is desired, however someone with a confident and proactive approach would definitely be considered.
