New Teaching Assistant opportunities in St Austell.
Teaching Personnel are looking for a hard-working, reliable Teacher Assistant (TA) to support the delivery of a high quality, accessible curriculum in a St Austell Primary school.
The successful candidate will be working in partnership with other education professionals and parents to maximise the level of learning within the school. Within this role you will join a highly motivated team and assist them with their classroom duties. You will gain invaluable experience within schools and further your career as a Learning Support Assistant.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be supporting small groups of students with their day to day learning, and therefore a good understanding of the curriculum is desirable. You will be working across the field from KS1-KS2 with children of all learning abilities and may support some students on a 1:1 basis.
As a TA you should bring a positive attitude to school everyday and provide a constant enthusiasm for learning. A friendly attitude with excellent interpersonal skills is needed and previous school-based experience is advantageous. Other relevant experience working with children or vulnerable people will be looked at and considered so please include all of this upon application as well as any voluntary roles. Relevant child-based qualifications will enhance your professional development and Teaching Personnel are able to offer you courses at a discounted rate.
