Job description

We are looking to appoint an outstanding Teacher of Computer Science and ICT to join a dedicated friendly and successful team of specialist Teachers. We have an OFSTED rating of good. The College is at an exciting stage of its development and we welcome applications from qualified teachers who want to be part of a consistently improving School.

Computer Science is taught as a core subject in KS3, and in KS4 continues as an option subject with further specialist courses available. These courses include GCSE Computer Science, GCSE ICT (legacy), CiDA, OCR Cambridge National Creative iMedia and BTEC Business Studies.

The successful candidate will have excellent up to date subject knowledge including Computing and general ICT skills, be prepared to teach a variety of different courses across the department including Business Studies. They will need to be able to work as part of a dynamic and forward thinking team and play a proactive role in the further development of the department.

This post would suit an NQT or experienced Computer Science and ICT Teacher with a passion for this subject. We comprehensively support all new staff and have tailored programs for NQT's, staff returning to the profession and those seeking a career change.
