*20 week Temporary to permanent placement agreement with school*

An 'OUTSTANDING' special needs school in Uxbridge, West London is looking to appoint primary teachers for KS2 complex needs classes to start immediately or in September.

Requirements:

• Must have QTS, NQT or overseas training with UK Naric
• Proven experience planning, teaching and accessing students with complex needs including autism
• Commitment to 8:30 - 4:00pm hours Mon - Fri
• Live in borough of Hillingdon or in West London
• Committed to long term temporary and permanent placement
• Experience using PECS, TEACCH, Symbols, AAC Interactive, Sensory resources and Positive Behaviour Support is desired

This school provides a holistic approach to education and well-being for pupils with complex learning and physical needs including autism. The curriculum is designed to provide pupils with opportunities that will maximise their learning potential and social experiences. All students have individual learning plans adapted for their needs and successful candidates will need to be flexible, able to adapt, engaging and resilient.

This is a temporary to permanent position which is offered based on individual merit. Those who are successful and receive positive feedback after initial placement will then be offered a contract with permanent placement after a term (20 working weeks).
