Supply Teacher
Job description
Supply Teacher in Trafford Needed
Teaching Personnel are looking for people with Qualified Teacher Status in any subject area who are seeking employment in and around the local South Manchester area. If you are an experienced teacher who is looking for a temporary role with less responsibilities than normal, or an ECT who is out of work and looking to gain further experience that will help you spring board into your next full-time role, then please apply below.
We require a number of teachers who would be available for flexible general cover positions that can fit around your schedule, and long-term roles (i.e. maternity leave positions) in your chosen subject area. You will need to have QTS (having completed a PGCE or similar ITT route) and will be a pro-active and enthusiastic person with excellent subject knowledge in your specialism. You will also be strong with behaviour management and will be able to build effective working relationships quickly.
This would be the perfect opportunity for anybody that wants either full-time or part-time work and wants to choose their work schedule whilst also gaining further experience within the education sector and building important contacts in the field. We work with a number of schools across South Manchester and Trafford (a lot of which are accessible via public transport) and will allow you to visit a number of schools should you want variety, or a long-term role in the same school that will provide you with consistency of work.
- Pay: £120 - £140 per day for day-to-day general cover (no planning or marking).
- Pay: £140 - £200 per day for long-term role depending on level or responsibilities involved.
- Full-time or part-time roles available to suit all (general cover or subject specific work).
- Schools across Trafford and South Manchester/Stockport.
If you are looking for work ASAP or will be available in the coming weeks, then please attach your most recent and up to date CV below in order to be considered by Teaching Personnel. We will then take you through the registration process that mean you are fully cleared and vetted to work across all schools and will be eligible for all roles that come up.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see the FAQ’s on the Teaching Personnel website for details.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We undertake safeguarding checks on all workers in accordance with DfE statutory guidance ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’ this may also include an online search as part of our due diligence on shortlisted applicants.
We offer all our registered candidates FREE child protection and prevent duty training. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
