SEN Teaching Assistant with Medical Experience needed

We are currently looking for medically trained SEN TA to work 1:1 with a child who needs to be administrated medicine. The suitably candidate will also be leading activities during break times. The school is based within the Hounslow Borough and has excellent transport links close by. The school has a private car park if you need it too.
Key facts:
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in schools or is degree qualified is essential
- Medically trained or Medical background
- Show commitment to working with pupils with special educational needs
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to manage confrontation and challenging behaviour
- Have an understanding and empathy toward pupils and parents
- Adapting support according to needs
This is a temp to perm position pay starting from £65 with a strong possibility of becoming permanent.
As a potential applicant with previous experience with Autism, ADHD, EBD, PMLD, etc. is favourable however, overall experience with working with SEN children will be taken into account. Additional training for SEN is great but not crucial as are able to offer course such as, NASEN, Autism Awareness Training and Read, Write Inc. Phonics Training. This role is full time and it will start in January 2018. The school are now short listing candidates and seeing people for interviews.
