Are you a Teaching Assistant looking to work with students with Special Educational Needs?

Or do you have previous experience with Special Educational Needs and are looking to get into Teaching Assistant work?

Teaching Personnel Bristol are seeking SEN Teaching Assistants for a number of roles within Secondary Schools in Bristol, Bath, and South Gloucestershire.

The roles available are part time and will begin in September 2018.

What You Will Be Doing:

You will be working in Secondary Schools and Academies across Bristol.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant you will be supporting students with Special Educational Needs.

You will be expected to either provide one to one support to an individual student or in class support.

The pay for this position is between £60-80 a day dependant on experience.

You will ideally have at least 1 years experience within a UK school - but dont worry this is not a requirement.

Teaching Personnel are particularly keen to hear from you if you have any of the following skills/experience:

  • Team Teach Trained
  • Autism Experience
  • Thrive
  • Safeguarding
  • Child Protection and Child Development Qualifications
  • Makaton
  • BSL

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
