Job description

As an SEN Specialist branch within a 20+yr education only established recruitment agency, I am currently looking for Teachers for a number of positions for my SEN Schools in Kent. The schools I work with cover a wide range of needs from PMLD (profound, multiple, learning difficulties) through to SEMH (social, emotional, metal health).  I am currently recruiting for positions within the following areas:

  • Primary & Secondary Teachers (Full-time) – Tonbridge
  • Primary & Secondary Teachers (Full-time) – Medway
  • Secondary Teacher (Full-time) – Ashford
  • Secondary Teacher (Full-time – contract) - Thanet

The schools are looking to appoint both Primary and Secondary Teacher’s with:

  • A passion for teaching and learning;
  • The ability to work independently and as a key motivator and inspirational leader for the class team;
  • A commitment to multi-agency working
  • Able to demonstrate belief in the school culture and ethos
  • Flexible, creative, enthusiastic and energetic.
  • Experience in teaching children and young people with special educational needs would be desirable but is not essential.

All Candidates Must:

  • Be able to commit to working the hours specified above
  • Provide a child only workforce DBS on the update service or willing to pay for a new child only DBS (GBP40) and then subscribe to the update service (GBP13)
  • Have no recent criminal convictions/cautions.
  • Have a full original birth certificate, full driving licence and/or valid passport.
  • If you have been a resident for less than 5 years in the UK a right to work visa (non-EU) and a criminal background check from any country resided in for 6 months or more with in the past 5 years must be provided.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
