Primary Teacher

Location:

Yorkshire and the Humber, West Yorkshire, Leeds, LS15

Job Type:

Temporary, Full-Time hours

£125 - £185 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons to primary school children
  • Assess and monitor student progress
  • Create a positive learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Relevant teaching qualification

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Previous experience teaching in a primary school setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the primary curriculum
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional training in Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Experience with virtual learning platforms

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a primary school setting, following school hours and term times. It may require occasional participation in school events and extracurricular activities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
