Year 5 Teacher - Halifax
A Primary Academy in Halifax (HX1) is seeking a dedicated and experienced KS2 Teacher to work with a Year 5 class.
- Ofsted graded ‘Good’ Primary Academy
- September 2021 start date
The school is looking for a committed individual who understands the national curriculum and who can inspire and challenge students to achieve their full potential. Whilst preparing the pupils for entry into Year 6, you will work towards the school’s vision of delivering a safe, caring, and nurturing environment.
The school would like to recruit someone who is able to make a positive difference in the classroom, most notably by developing student confidence. You will be required to implement a creative and innovative teaching strategy, so as to enhance the pupils’ personal development.
Successful candidates will:
- Have QTS and experience of working within a KS2 classroom
- Understand the importance of developing the moral, social and cultural needs of pupils, via a range of learning of opportunities
- Have a track record of improving KS2 outcomes, particularly in reading
