Maths TA - Trafford

Do you want to gain experience in a secondary school before going on to your teacher training?
A secondary school located in the Trafford area of Manchester is seeking a Maths TA to join their Maths department in a supportive role. This Maths TA vacancy is for a full time, on going position, starting in September. The school is a seeking a Maths TA who can support pupils both inside and outside of the classroom, and can competently support the classroom teacher.
As a Maths TA, you will be working with pupils across the Key Stages, supporting within the classroom initially. In addition to this, you will also be providing intervention to small groups of pupils outside the classroom. The Good Manchester secondary school is highly supportive, and looks to utilise graduates across the school within TA roles initially, helping them grow into effective classroom practitioners. The successful Maths TA will display a good level of behaviour management when working with pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis.

The school is located in a rural area of Trafford, on the outskirts of Manchester. The school offers a broad and varied curriculum, which aims to develop pupils as individuals, as well as focusing on their academic progression. The Maths department is seeking a Maths TA who has some experience working with young people, and will be able to hit the ground running in September.
