Job description

Teaching Personnel are looking for SEN Teachers to provide personalised education and support to students with a range of special educational and mental health needs. We are working with multiple SEN schools across East London & Essex to recruit outstanding SEN Teachers.

Details:

  • Primary SEN Teacher (Qualified or other relevant qualifications)
  • East London & Essex locations (E14, E16, IG7, IG10 & RM6)
  • May start (flexible)
  • Full-time, Monday to Friday 8:30AM – 3:30PM
  • Paid to Scale - M1 - UPS3 (Via PAYE)

 

About the role:

  • Planning and delivering tailored lessons to meet the individual needs of students
  • All classes have an abundance of support (3-4 support staff at a time)
  • Using various teaching strategies and resources to ensure students are engaged in their learning
  • Collaborate with support staff, parents, and external professionals to ensure student’s progress & well-being
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters the social and emotional development of students

 

To be considered for this role, you should have the following qualities:

  • Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs
  • Strong understanding of various SEN conditions and strategies for support
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students with SEN reach their full potential
  • Previous teaching experience is essential for this role

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
