Do you have a passion for Maths that you want to share? Do you want to support young people that may have fallen behind in their studies of Mathematics?

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking an inspirational Maths Graduate from September 2019 to support one of our partner secondary schools in Salford. This is an exciting opportunity for a Graduate to gain valuable experience in a successful Maths department if they have ambitions of a career within education in the future.

• Maths Graduate required full time from September 2019
• Placement during term time until July 2020
• Supporting a number of students across KS3 and KS4 with Mathematics
• 'Good' secondary school in Salford
• Earn up to £325 per week

Our partner secondary school is located in the Salford Quays area of Salford, and is currently the school of choice to fewer than 900 students with the school set to expand in the near future. The school moved to their state of the art campus in 2012, giving students access to high quality facilities throughout which in turn provides a high standard learning environment. The school is a short walk away from a tram stop, and is easily accessible from Manchester city centre.

The successful Maths Graduate will undertake many responsibilities linked with raising the attainment of key students that have been identified by the Head of Year team as well as the department leadership team. This will be achieved by running intervention sessions for small groups of pupils, as well as supporting class teachers during lessons. This will allow candidates to gain experience of planning and delivering lessons, as well as opportunities to support students who have additional needs such as SEMH, SEND and behavioural needs.
