Learning Support Assistant

Teaching Personnel is looking for dedicated full-time Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to work in a range of SEN and SEMH schools across Wigan. These schools support pupils who need extra help to access learning and achieve their potential — and you could be the key to helping them thrive.
About the Role:
As an LSA, you will:

Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with additional needs
-
Help manage behaviour in a supportive and therapeutic way
-
Collaborate with teaching staff, SENCOs, and therapists
-
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
-
Support pupils with a range of needs including autism, ADHD, trauma, and behavioural challenges

Experience in youth work, care, psychology, or sports coaching is also highly valued.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
