Job Title: Learning Support Assistant (Secondary)

Salary: Up to £100 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)

A well-regarded secondary school in Durhamis seeking a full-time Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their support team starting in September 2025.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with prior experience supporting young people—whether in schools, tutoring, mentoring, or similar environments—who are confident, adaptable, and passionate about helping students achieve their potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide in-class support primarily to students in Years 8–11
• Deliver targeted interventions in core subjects (English, Maths, Science)
• Support students with varying levels of need, including both lower and higher ability learners
• Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure all students are engaged and making progress

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience supporting secondary-age students (school-based, tutoring, or voluntary)
• Ability to adapt support strategies to meet the needs of different learners
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A full-time commitment (Monday to Friday), beginning September 2025
