Year 5 teacher needed in the South Manchester, Wythenshawe (M22) area. A South Manchester based primary school is looking to recruit a year 5 teacher to start work ASAP on a full time basis until the end of the academic year. The role will have the potential to extend into the next academic year.
The school is rated "GOOD" by Ofsted and is looking push the school further through the excellent leadership team and committed staff team. If you are a qualified KS2 teacher with experience in working in year 5 classes then this role could be for you. The school is very supportive and has a drive to succeed so any potential year 5 teacher will be extremely supported by the staff as everyone is looking for the school to succeed.
The Year 5 class has 31 pupils in the class with 3 SEN pupils with mild learning difficulties and 1 Pupils with Autism who has a 1:1 TA with him at all times. The class is mixed ability so it is essential that the successful candidate be able to effectively differentiate in order to cater to all the different ability in the class.
The Head teacher of the school and the rest of the department have a real focus on the success of the school for the present and future. You will need knowledge of the curriculum and experience in KS2 to be considered for this role.
The Manchester school is looking for someone who is extremely enthusiastic and passionate about teaching that can maintain the high standards set.
