An exciting opportunity has arisen at our client's secondary school, an institution renowned for its vibrant ethos, dynamic leadership, and a proven record of high academic standards. Recognised as ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted, the school is situated in the heart of Ilford, Essex, serving a diverse and enthusiastic community of learners.

They are now seeking a passionate, innovative, and dedicated Teacher of Art and Design to join their thriving Art Department from the start of the next academic term.

Contract: Fulltime, Permanent
Salary: Competitive, Dependent on experience
Start: September 2024, sooner if possible

Key Responsibilities:
*Deliver engaging and effective teaching and learning of Art and Design that inspires and challenges students.
*Develop and enhance the Art and Design curriculum across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
*Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students.
*Contribute to raising standards of student attainment and achieving departmental targets.
*Show commitment to understanding and promoting the school’s ethos.

Requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
*A degree or equivalent qualification in Art and Design.
*A proven track record of delivering high-quality teaching and student outcomes.
*Ability to teach across all key stages including A-level.
*Excellent classroom management skills.
*Strong organisational and communication skills.
*A passion for the subject and the ability to share this with young people.
*Commitment to professional development and willingness to continue learning.
*A valid DBS check, or willingness to obtain one prior to commencement.
