Teaching Personnel are looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working individual who will join our partner schools inclusion centre.

  • Full-time role commencing in April 2019.
  • Competitive rates of pay, earn up to £1300 per month

We are looking to appoint a hard-working and committed inclusion assistant to join our partner schools inclusion team. Duties of this role will be to provide support the needs of pupils who need particular help to overcome barriers to learning. Students in our client school's inclusion centre will express challenging behaviour and therefore the successful applicant will be confident, assertive and have excellent behaviour management skills.

The successful applicant will lead small group or individual educational sessions, ensuring that individuals receive the required provision and required support. You will have excellent communication skills and a flexible approach to working. The successful candidate will:

  • Be passionate about inclusion
  • Have significant and successful experience of working with children with challenging behaviour in an education and/or social care setting
  • Be able to establish excellent relationships with pupils
  • Possess excellent classroom management skills

Our client school is the local secondary provider of choice at the heart of our community and has been on an amazing journey to improve education for all of their students and have transformed the Academy. Their most recent Ofsted inspection early in 2015 commented on the schools many 'Outstanding' features. Academic standards have soared and our client school is now recognised as an innovative and ambitious Academy at a national level. The school recently invested in a £20 million state-of-the-art building to accommodate their growing student population and therefore has excellent facilities throughout.

The school is located in South Manchester, easily accessible via Metro links from the city centre and public bus routes. The school also has a large free car park for all staff members.
