Graduate Teaching Assistant required in Little Lever

Are you a Psychology Graduate looking to gain experience within a school located in the Bolton area? Do you have a passion for supporting pupils? Are you looking to make a difference in pupils learning journeys?
If so an average primary school, which has been graded Good by Ofsted located in the Little Lever area of Bolton, is currently looking to appoint a graduate teaching assistant to support pupils within their year 3 class. Pupils within the class have some behavioural needs and have difficulties building relationships with others. The role would be to start in October and would be for 35 hours a week.
A successful applicant should:
- Hold either an educational or psychological degree
- Have experience working with pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis
- Have a caring and understanding nature
- Be approachable
- Have strong communication skills
- Be experienced or have techniques in order to support pupils with behavioural difficulties
- Be adaptable
- Be able to support the school ethos and be able to become part of a strong supportive team
