SEN Teaching Assistant – Trafford (M31)

Are you an experienced and compassionate SEN Support Specialist seeking an enriching opportunity within a mixed-age SEN institution? Our school, situated in Trafford (M31), is in search of a dedicated professional to join our dynamic team and positively influence the educational journey of our students.

Essential Criteria:

  • Proven background in providing support to SEN students.
  • Availability for full-time commitment during regular school hours (Monday to Friday).
  • Possession of an Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service or willingness to initiate the application process via Teaching Personnel.
  • Valid Right to Work in the UK.
  • Registration with Teaching Personnel is a prerequisite.
  • Highly desirable: Training in Team Teach methodologies.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to facilitate the educational and personal growth of SEN students.
  • Contribute to the creation of a conducive and uplifting learning environment.
  • Customise and implement learning activities, aligning with the specific needs outlined in EHCPs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
