Are you a Science teacher seeking a full time position post Christmas within a well established secondary school graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted? If so, please see the details of our client school who have a temporary 12 month position available in the new year, covering maternity leave;

*Full time position from January 2017 covering maternity leave

*Biology, Chemistry and Physics teachers all considered for this position

*12 month position – Pay in line with your scale point

Our client school located in central Rochdale seek to appoint a Science teacher in the new year to cover an upcoming maternity leave within their Science department. Both experienced and NQT’s are welcome to apply to this role and there is flexibility within the timetable to ensure you are teaching your subject specialism; Biology, Chemistry or Physics.

Found in central Rochdale, a short drive from the M62 the school is easily accessible from the surrounding areas and has regular public transport links. Serving an ethnically diverse catchment area, there are an average number of EAL pupils on roll in which specialist teaching assistants offer additional support to individual pupils. The school has a strong and supportive management team in place who offer a clear vision to staff. The schools new build also boasts state of the art facilities with a well equipped Science department.

The ideal candidate for this position will;

*Hold full UK QTS and a PGCE in secondary Science

*Be confident teaching all areas of Science to KS3

*Be able to consistently display ‘Good’ and ‘Outstanding’ practice
