Full-Time School Cleaner
Location: Chorley, Lancashire
Pay: Starting from £13.75 per hour
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Start Date: As soon as possible
Are you reliable, hard-working, and take pride in keeping spaces clean and safe? We are currently looking to recruit a dedicated Cleaner to join the site supervision team at a welcoming and well-respected school in Chorley.
With the team set to expand, now is the ideal time to become part of a supportive and valued facilities team. You’ll be helping to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the school site, contributing to a safe and pleasant environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.
Duties will include:
- General cleaning of classrooms, corridors, toilets, and communal areas
- Safe use of cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Reporting maintenance or safety issues to the Site Supervisor
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards at all times
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience in cleaning or a similar facilities role (preferred but not essential)
- Be punctual, trustworthy, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Be flexible and able to adapt to the needs of the school environment
- Hold or be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
