SEN Teaching Assistant – Agency Work

About the Role:
We are looking for dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to work on an agency basis across a range of mainstream and specialist schools in Preston and Blackpool. This is a flexible opportunity offering varied experience and the chance to make a real impact on children and young people with additional needs.

What You'll Be Doing

Supporting students with a range of SEN including autism, ADHD, SEMH and communication needs
Delivering 1:1 and small group interventions
Assisting in the classroom to ensure an inclusive and engaging learning environment
Working closely with teachers and SENCOs to support learning plans and behaviour strategies
Promoting independence, confidence and emotional well-being in pupils

What We're Looking For

Experience working with children or young people with SEN (in education, care or similar)
A calm, nurturing and adaptable approach
Availability to work flexibly across different school settings
A current DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
Qualifications such as Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent are desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
