SEN Supply Teachers – Flexible Roles Across Preston and Blackpool

Location: Lancashire 
Contract Type: Full-time, Part-time, Short-term, and Long-term supply
Salary: £130–£190 per day (dependent on experience and responsibilities)
Start Date: Ongoing / Immediate starts available

The Role

As an SEN Supply Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to students with a range of additional needs including autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, MLD, PMLD, and SLD

  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies using positive behaviour strategies

  • Adapt teaching approaches to suit individual EHCPs and learning profiles

  • Collaborate with LSAs, therapists, and the wider SEN team

  • Track and assess progress, often using alternative assessment tools

  • Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where all pupils can thrive


What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS), ECT's welcome to apply

  • Recent experience teaching children or young people with SEN in school or alternative provision settings

  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

  • Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and student needs

  • A calm, resilient, and reflective approach to teaching

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
