Flexible SEN Teaching Assistant – Agency Basis

Locations: Primary and Secondary Schools across Blackpool and the Fylde Coast
Flexible Hours | Competitive Daily Rates | Immediate Start Available

Are you a passionate and adaptable SEN Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work that fits around your schedule? We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our agency team, providing support in a range of SEN roles across mainstream and specialist schools in the Preston area. Whether you are experienced or just beginning your career in education, we welcome your application.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils with special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and MLD

  • Assist in adapting classroom activities to meet individual learning needs

  • Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and school staff to support pupil progress and well-being

  • Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with children or young people with additional needs (in schools or similar settings)

  • A calm, patient, and flexible approach to supporting learning

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
