Job description
Education Support & Teaching Roles – SEND Schools Across East Sussex
SEND schools across East Sussex are looking for calm, committed educators — and I’m building a strong pool of people ready for current and upcoming roles.
I work with primary and secondary SEND and SEMH settings, supporting them to find staff who are emotionally resilient, reflective and motivated by impact rather than routine.
This is a general opportunity to explore what’s available and what might suit you.
Roles May Include
- SEND / SEMH teaching roles
- Teaching Assistant and LSA positions
- Classroom and learning support roles
- Pastoral and behaviour-focused support
- Flexible, long-term or ongoing work
Roles vary by school, but all focus on consistency, relationships and support.
This May Suit You If You
- Enjoy working with children who need extra support
- Can remain calm during challenging moments
- Value teamwork and shared responsibility
- Want work that feels purposeful
- Are open to developing SEND skills over time
Previous SEND experience is helpful but not essential — training and support are available.
Why Register Your Interest
- Access to multiple SEND schools across East Sussex
- Flexible working options
- Clear, honest communication about roles
- Ongoing work without repeated applications
- Support from someone who understands SEND education
Practical Details
- East Sussex-based roles
- Immediate and upcoming opportunities
- Teachers paid to scale, TA/LSA roles at £89.38 per day
- Child-only DBS required — support provided
