Early Career Teachers (ECT’s) required
Secondary schools across South Manchester are looking for a variety of teachers across different subject areas for September 2024 (as well as shorter term vacancies this term starting ASAP). Teaching Personnel work with a number of secondary schools who use us a recruitment partner to help support them with all their permanent and temporary staffing needs.

- Want to build your experience in either a new permanent role or try out a number of schools in temporary roles before deciding which school is right for you?
- Do you live in/can commute to South Manchester, Trafford or Stockport?
Please do not hesitate to register with Teaching Personnel by submitting your up-to-date CV as a file below. Once completed the vetting process you will automatically become eligible to all subject specific roles as well as any general cover positions.
With general cover, you are also able to work flexible days, so if you don’t want to work full-time then you can choose which days of the week you work on any given week. This is also a good way to try out different schools to get a sense for what kind of school would be a good fit for you when applying to permanent roles in the future, allowing you to not rush into a role that might not necessarily be the right fit.
Subject specific roles would allow you an excellent opportunity to build upon your teaching pedagogy that has been developed over your PGCE year, and would give you additional experience that would be beneficial for your CV and future career prospects and would let you expand your professional network within education.
- Subject Specific roles (involving planning and marking): £153.58 per day (M1 level).
- Flexible general cover (no planning/marking): £130 per day.
- Weekly pay.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
