Behavioural Support Assistant

Levels of anxiety and behavioural issues are expected to go up in the new academic year- once pupils return to school after such a long period at home. We are recruiting for a behavioural support assistant to support a primary school located in Attleborough, you would be working with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups - you will be required to creat behavioural support plans and methods to help the pupils re-adjusting back to school life.
As a behavioural support assistant you would be providing to support to pupils who require additional support during the school day, this would include behavioural guidance, reporting the pupils progress to the teacher on a daily basis and aiding the pupils to create strong lasting relationships with their teachers and peers. It may also include some 1:1 work with pupils and some small aspects of small group work with the pupils. Prior experience of SEN would be a hugely beneficial trait in a candidate, this could be in or out of an educational environment.
This role would be ideally suited to a recent graduate looking to expend their knowledge and skillset in a primary/SEN environment, the candidate would need to be patient, caring and have a passion for helping others who require additional support.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
