Teaching Assistant – Secondary School

Location: Wilmslow
Contract: Full-Time, Term-Time
Salary: £89 – £95 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)

At Teaching Personnel, we are recruiting Teaching Assistants to support a welcoming secondary school in Wilmslow. This role is ideal for recent graduates (any subject) or individuals passionate about working with young people and gaining classroom experience.

Role Overview:

• Provide classroom support under the guidance of the class teacher
• Work with pupils in small groups or one-to-one
• Assist with learning activities, resources, and general classroom organisation
• Help maintain behaviour standards and a positive learning environment

What We’re Looking For:

• A university degree (any subject) and/or relevant experience in education or childcare
• Confident communicator with strong organisational skills
• Reliable and professional attitude
• Willingness to receive training and follow school policies
• Previous experience with children (formal or informal) is helpful but not essential
