Teaching Assistant – Secondary School
Location: Wilmslow
Contract: Full-Time, Term-Time
Salary: £89 – £95 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
At Teaching Personnel, we are recruiting Teaching Assistants to support a welcoming secondary school in Wilmslow. This role is ideal for recent graduates (any subject) or individuals passionate about working with young people and gaining classroom experience.
Role Overview:
- Provide classroom support under the guidance of the class teacher
- Work with pupils in small groups or one-to-one
- Assist with learning activities, resources, and general classroom organisation
- Help maintain behaviour standards and a positive learning environment
What We’re Looking For:
- A university degree (any subject) and/or relevant experience in education or childcare
- Confident communicator with strong organisational skills
- Reliable and professional attitude
- Willingness to receive training and follow school policies
- Previous experience with children (formal or informal) is helpful but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
