About the Role:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Secondary Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic and inclusive school in Runcorn. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of supporting students across KS3 and KS4, with a particular focus on those with additional learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to students in mainstream and SEN settings
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging and accessible lessons
- Support pupils with emotional, behavioural, and learning difficulties
- Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a secondary school
- SEN experience highly desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 TA, CACHE, or equivalent)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
