Support Children with Complex Special Educational Needs to Thrive

At Teaching Personnel, we are excited to offer an inspiring opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant with a specialism in complex SEN to join a supportive school community in Leeds. This role is ideal for someone passionate about inclusive education and making a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs.


Key Responsibilities:
• Provide one-to-one support to pupils with complex special educational needs
• Adapt and implement strategies tailored to individual learning and care needs
• Work closely with teachers and multidisciplinary teams to support pupils’ progress and wellbeing
• Foster a nurturing, patient, and inclusive environment that encourages pupils to reach their full potential
• Participate actively in training and professional development opportunities
• Promote high standards of care, learning, and behaviour in line with school policies

• Proven experience supporting children with complex SEN in an educational setting
• A nurturing and flexible approach to meeting individual pupil needs
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work independently
• Commitment to the principles of inclusive education and pupil wellbeing
• Enthusiasm for helping every child achieve their potential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
