Are you a patient, proactive, and caring individual looking to support children with special educational needs? We’re recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants in the Halifax area for a range of rewarding roles across local schools.

About the Role:
You will support pupils with a variety of additional needs including Autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties. Roles may involve one-to-one support, small group work, or general classroom assistance, depending on the needs of the setting. No two days are the same – flexibility and compassion are key.

Your Responsibilities May Include:

• Supporting individual pupils to access learning

• Assisting with personal care, emotional regulation, and behaviour support

• Helping to implement strategies from EHCPs and learning plans

• Encouraging independence and confidence in pupils

• Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals

We’re Looking For:

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEN (formal or informal)

• A calm, resilient, and empathetic approach

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• A willingness to adapt and learn in a fast-paced environment

• Relevant qualifications are welcomed but not essential
