“Outstanding” school in Wigan requires Year 3 teacher on a full time basis with an immediate start.
The candidate must be an innovative individual with relevant experience teaching pupils at a Key Stage 2 level. This individual should want to positively contribute to high levels of pupil attainment within the classroom and throughout the school.
Successful candidates must be able to clearly identify teaching objectives whilst being able to teach and assess individuals and groups of children. Teachers must also be confident in directing and delegating tasks to teaching assistants working alongside them.
Essential Skills:
• Setting of appropriate work which falls in line with school and curriculum standards
• Teach pupils in accordance with their own capabilities and educational needs
• Be able to set targets for pupils and ensure they are communicated and well understood
Applicants must be fully qualified with relevant experience (minimum 2 years) teaching children at KS2 level as well as providing excellent references.
