We require a highly driven and focused KS1 Teacher to provide Literacy and Numeracy Intervention to Year 2 pupils in an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ Primary school in Newcastle. The ideal candidate will have experience of teaching intervention and will be committed to providing Year 2 pupils with a stimulating, well structured learning environment, encouraging them to engage and achieve in their education.
You will be able to successfully differentiate your skills to suit the needs of every pupil and have an understanding nature. Experience in Year 2 SATs with proven successful levels of attainment is highly desired.
There are high levels of SLCN within the school therefore knowledge within this area would also be beneficial. The position is part time and will begin after Easter. It will initially last 1 school term in length and has the potential to be extended.
