Job Duties:
- Deliver English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) classes to Unaccompained Asylum Seeker Children or refugees
- Develop lesson plans and materials tailored to the needs of individual learners
- Assess students' language skills and progress regularly
- Provide constructive feedback to students to support their language development
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive learning experience
Required Qualifications:
- Recognised teaching qualification
- Specialisation in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) or equivalent
- Knowledge of language acquisition principles
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
- Prior experience teaching ESOL to diverse groups of learners
- Experience in curriculum development and lesson planning
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of ESOL teaching methodologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the varying needs of students
- Proficiency in using technology to enhance learning
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in TESL or related field
- Certification in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
