Teaching Assistant | Additional Learning Needs | Cardiff

Our Specialist SEN Branch here at Teaching Personnel are currently looking to recruit a number of ALN & SEN experienced teaching assistants to work within SEN Schools and Pupil Referral Units across Cardiff. We are now working in partnership with a number of schools who solely use us as their recruitment solution.
Whether you have 20 years experience or a keen interest in supporting children & young people who have additional learning needs or display challenging behaviour - we are looking for you! Worried you do not have relevant experience within the classroom? Please do not fret! many of the schools we work with look for the right fit personality over experience.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Psychology, Sports, Youth Work, Support Work, Ex-military or Custodial backgrounds.
- Ability to use your initiative in situations that some may challenging.
- Have a good sense of humour.
- The ability to work well individually and in a team.
What we need from you:
- Child workforce DBS that is on the update service.
- Registration with the Education Workforce Council.
- Willingness to complete Safeguarding Level 2 Course - we offer free of charge!
