General Teaching Assistant - Oldham
Teaching Personnel is working with an average sized primary school in the Oldham area (OL9) to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced Teaching Assistant. The role is full time and starts ASAP. This is an incredible opportunity for someone who is looking to progress their career.
The Primary School is part of a multi-academy trust, which is known for its high expectations for all students. It is in a brand new state of the art building, with excellent resources for all students and teachers. This is a supportive school for both staff and pupils, which has a very stimulating environment. The students are really well behaved and have a positive outlook on learning; they strive to be the best that they can be. Positive behavior is encouraged throughout the school.
This is an inclusive school with a high level of EAL. The students learn from a language rich curriculum which allows them to make good progress by the end of KS2. All of the teachers throughout the school are determined to raise attainment and have excellent subject knowledge. They really want their students to do well and create engaging lessons which cater their students' individual needs.
The school will consider taking on more than one Teaching Assistant, due to the busy time of year. You must have experience working with students from KS1 or KS2. You must be bubbly and interact with the children in order to enhance their learning. You may be expected to work with students on a 1:1 or small group basis. Intervention and booster class experience would be advantageous.
To apply for this role applicants must:
- Be enthusiastic and committed
- Have a Teaching Assistant qualification
- Have a real desire to make a positive difference to the pupils you work with
- Have experience working with KS1 and/or KS2 students
The role is to start immediately and offers a competitive rate.
