Job description
Thousands of children are missing out on vital education due to being outside of a school setting for various reasons. Regular educational attendance is important for learning as well as for a child’s well-being, mental health, and long-term development.
We are seeking highly motivated individuals with a passion to improve outcomes for children and young people who need it most. You will provide bespoke, targeted ,and responsive tuition for Young People that require an education.
We support Primary students all the way through to A-Level across a variety of subjects.
We work with local authorities and schools across Bournemouth and Poole and are searching for multiple candidates for full and part-time opportunities.

Your Experience
-
Experience of working in education, social care, community/youth work, military or other sectors with transferable skills and knowledge
-
Knowledge of: English and Maths
-
How to empower and enable pupils to have access to an education
-
Having access to transport is desirable but not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
-
To identify, engage and tutor pupils who are outside of a school setting.

To hold a case load of pupils to engage in tuition support and to build confidence in learning.

To encourage and motivate pupils to get back into the classroom and to improve attendance on an ongoing basis.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
