Teaching Assistant

Job description

The school caters for primary and secondary age with Autism (verbal and non-verbal) and associated learning disabilities including emotional/mental health needs and communication difficulties. We are recruiting for various roles such as specialist support, 1:1 Support and Behaviour Mentors.

Successful candidates:

  • Experience personal or professional experience with Autism
  • Resilient and nurturing
  • Able to follow instructions
  • Quick at learning and adapting to change
  • Adhere to the school safeguarding policies
  • Passion to work with children
  • Happy to work one to one with pupils with Autism

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
