Overview
Teaching Personnel is recruiting Teaching Assistants to support local primary schools in Winterbourne Abbas. Schools are seeking reliable, flexible staff who can cover short-notice absences and contribute to positive classroom environments.

Role Responsibilities
• Support pupils in class, small groups, and on a 1:1 basis
• Assist teachers with lesson delivery, behaviour management, and resource preparation
• Promote pupil engagement and positive learning behaviours
• Adapt quickly to different classrooms and school routines
• Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times

Requirements
• Experience working with children or young people (school-based preferred)
• Strong communication skills and a supportive, professional approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
• Availability for short-notice supply cover
• Ability to work confidently in varied school settings

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
