Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a number of primary schools across Macclesfield and Congleton. We are looking for a Primary Teacher who is looking for flexible cover and is able to cover both KS1 and KS2.

About the role:

  • Immediate start upon registering with Teaching Personnel
  • Part-time and full-time opportunities
  • Short-term and long-term sickness cover

As a flexible Cover Teacher, you will work across KS1 and KS2 in the absence of the class teacher. All work will be pre-planned and resources prepared, so you must ensure all work is completed and a positive learning environment is maintained. You will follow the schools behaviour policies at all times and communicate with support staff and members of SLT when necessary.

What we’re looking for:

  • QTS in primary education
  • Experience teaching across KS1 and KS2 primary curriculum
  • Ability to foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment
  • Adaptability and organisation skills are essential
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
