Job description

Job Title: Teachers – Primary and Secondary
Location: Wareham and surrounding areas
Start Date: Immediate (day-to-day and short-term), long-term roles available throughout the academic year
Contract Type: Flexible supply and potential long-term placements
Salary: £120–£140 per day (dependent on experience and role)

Overview
Teaching Personnel is seeking skilled and adaptable Teachers to support schools in and around Wareham. Local schools require reliable practitioners for day-to-day supply cover, with opportunities for longer-term roles as the year progresses.

Role Responsibilities
• Deliver high-quality lessons aligned with curriculum expectations
• Maintain strong behaviour management and a positive classroom environment
• Adapt teaching to meet a range of learner needs
• Assess pupil progress and support effective learning
• Follow safeguarding procedures and school policies

Requirements
• QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Strong classroom management and subject knowledge
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
• Flexibility to work in different school settings
• Professionalism, reliability, and strong communication skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
