Teaching Personnel is working closely with a number of welcoming and supportive schools in and around Dorchester who are seeking enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistants to join their teams. We have a variety of opportunities available, ranging from longer-term placements to ad hoc / day-to-day roles, offering flexibility to suit your availability.

This role is ideal for Teaching Assistants who are passionate about supporting pupils, particularly those with SEN, and who are happy to travel to local schools when required.

Position Details:

• Role: Teaching Assistant
• Location: Dorchester and surrounding areas
• Start Date: Immediate and ongoing
• Contract: Long-term placements and ad hoc supply
• Pay: Paid to scale, paid weekly via PAYE

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

• Has experience supporting children, with SEN experience preferred
• Is confident working in the classroom, small groups or on a 1:1 basis
• Is flexible with availability and adaptable to different school environments
• Is happy to drive / travel to local schools (preferred)
• Has a DBS on the Update Service (preferred) or is happy to apply through Teaching Personnel
• Brings a patient, proactive and positive approach to supporting learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
