Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with several primary schools in Dorchester to recruit committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants for the new academic year starting September 2025.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting children’s learning, development, and well-being across Early Years, KS1, and KS2 settings.

Role Highlights:

• Positions available in mainstream and SEN settings.
• Opportunities for both general classroom support and 1:1 intervention roles.
• Full-time and part-time roles (flexible to suit your availability).
• Ongoing work with the potential for long-term placements.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting.
• Be confident supporting pupils with varying needs, including those with SEND.
• Possess excellent communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude.
• Be committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil well-being.
• Have (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the update service.
