Primary Teaching Assistants – Dorchester
Location: Dorchester, Dorset
Contract Type: Full-time & Part-time opportunities
Start Date: September 2025
Pay: £84 – £95 per day

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with several primary schools in Dorchester to recruit committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants for the new academic year starting September 2025.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting children’s learning, development, and well-being across Early Years, KS1, and KS2 settings.
Role Highlights:
- Positions available in mainstream and SEN settings.
- Opportunities for both general classroom support and 1:1 intervention roles.
- Full-time and part-time roles (flexible to suit your availability).
- Ongoing work with the potential for long-term placements.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting.
- Be confident supporting pupils with varying needs, including those with SEND.
- Possess excellent communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude.
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil well-being.
- Have (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the update service.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
