Teaching Assistant – Bridport & Surrounding Areas
Long-Term & Daily Supply | Flexible Travel | DBS Support Available
Teaching Personnel is working closely with a range of welcoming and supportive schools in and around Bridport, with additional opportunities across the surrounding areas. We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants who are happy to commute locally and are looking for a mix of long-term placements and day-to-day supply work.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, wants flexible work, and is passionate about supporting pupils in the classroom.
Position Details:
- Role: Teaching Assistant
- Location: Bridport + surrounding areas
- Start Date: Immediate and ongoing opportunities
- Contract: Long-term roles and daily supply available
- Pay: Competitive rates, paid weekly via PAYE
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
- Has experience working with children (school-based or transferable experience welcome)
- Is confident supporting pupils in the classroom and small groups
- Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Is flexible, reliable, and happy to commute to local schools
- Has a DBS on the Update Service (preferred) or is happy to apply for one through us
- Brings a positive, patient and proactive approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
