Teaching Assistant – Weymouth
Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities | Primary & Middle Schools
Teaching Personnel are working closely with a range of welcoming schools in Weymouth and the surrounding areas, and we are currently recruiting dedicated Teaching Assistants to support pupils across a variety of settings.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals seeking full-time or part-time roles, with flexibility to commute or drive to local schools.
The Role:
- Supporting pupils in Primary classrooms, with additional opportunities in Middle Schools
- Working 1:1 or in small groups to support learning and engagement
- Providing additional support to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) where required
- Assisting class teachers with daily classroom activities and behaviour management
- Helping to create a positive, inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience working with children (school-based experience desirable)
- SEN experience is preferable, but not essential
- Holds a DBS registered on the Update Service (preferred – support available if not)
- Confident, caring and adaptable in different school environments
- Happy to travel to schools in Weymouth and surrounding areas

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
